Round 3 of the PMBA Enduro Series was hosted by Lee Quarry and Havoc Bikepark. Having previously crashed out of contention at Round 1 at Gisburn, I was hoping to redeem myself and finish all 6 stages of the 23 mile loop without a costly mistake.

Following a successful first round in Crychan Forest the UK Enduro series marched on to Triscombe, Somerset for round 2. This popular riding area in the South West is well known for its technical and steep tracks all dug and maintained by the local riding community.
The first round of the UK Enduro series has come around with a thump! This being my first National level race and having spent a few too many winter evenings hiding in bed rather than out on my bike or on the turbo, I didn’t exactly feel ‘race ready’ on the drive to Crychan forest on friday afternoon, so I decided to take this race as a taster and not worry about my results too much.
For many years now the area around Gloucester has seen a growing mountain bike scene but 2016 is set to be one to remember with even more places to ride getting the go ahead.
Some projects have come and gone but the riders and the will to develope places to ride still remains…
